The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in child care teachers' efficacy and burnout by demographic variables and their burnout in relation to efficacy. Subjects of this study were 210 child care teachers for the disabled children.
The results were as follows: First, total efficacy was high in teachers with undereducated diploma, those with more than 5 year, and those with reeducation opportunity. Also, burnout level was high in teachers with high school diploma, those with more than 5 year, those over 30 years old, those with reeducation opportunity, and those maiden. Second, teacher's efficacy variables explained approximately 22% for total score of burnout.
