유치원 교사의 과학교수 효능감에 관한 연구 = A Study on Early Childhood Teacher's Self-efficacy in Teaching Science

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated the early childhood teacher's self efficacy in teaching science. A questionnaire was developed for this study based on STEBI(Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument) and was used in collection of data. The questionnaire consisted of 28 items and divided into three areas. Subjects of this study were 204 early childhood teachers in urban and rural areas. In analyzing data, the collected questionnaires were processed a statics by t-test and ANOVA in the SAS program. The results showed that the early childhood educators who participated in this study had the positive efficacy in teaching science. There was not a significant difference on efficacy in teaching science between teachers in rural areas and teachers in urban areas. But there was a significant difference on efficacy in teaching science according to teacher's careers. Further educational implications and suggestions were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유치원 교사의 과학교수 효능감이 지역별, 시설별, 경력에 따라 어떤 차이가 있는가를 분석하여 유아 과학교육의 질적인 향상을 위한 교사의 변인에 대한 기초적인 자료를 제공하려는데 있다. 도시와 지방에 근무하고 유치원 현직 교사연수 프로그램을 이수하고 있는 204명의 유치원 교사를 대상으로 한 과학교수 효능감에 대한 설문지 분석에서 유치원 교사는 과학교수에 대하여 전반적으로 양호하게 평가하고 있었다. 도시와 지방간, 그리고 사립유치원과 공립유치원간 교사들의 과학교수 효능감에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었으나 교사의 경력에 따라서는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 드러났다.
