The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between teaching efficacy or cognition of professionalism and teacher-parent communication attitude of child care center teachers. The subjects were 185 child care center teachers in Gwangju city. Teaching efficacy was measured by using the instrument originally developed by Enochs & Riggs(1990), cognition of professionalism was measured by Lee(2002), and Caregiver Attitude toward Communication by Choi & Park(2004) was employed to measure teacher-parent communication attitude. The collected data were analyzed by using the SPSS computer program.<br/>
The major results of this study were as follow: First, teaching efficacy was statistically significant factor in predicting teacher's communication Attitude. Second, cognition of professionalism was too statistically significant factor in predicting teacher's communication attitude.
