임상장학에 대한 유아교사들의 인식 및 실시 현황 = A Study of the Recognition and Current Situation of Kindergarten Teacher for Clinical Supervision

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 장학요원의 역할을 수행해 본 경험이 있는 유아교사들의 임상장학에 대한 인식 및 실시 현황을 알아봄으로써 향후 유아교육 현장에 보다 효율적으로 적용할 수 있는 임싱장학 실행을 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 유아교사 272명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 임상장학에 대한 유아교사들의 인식을 알아본 결과 대부분의 유아교사들은 임상장학의 개념은 잘 알지 못하지만 필요한 것으로 이해하고 있었으며, 임상장학이 도움을 주는 측면은 교수활동의 개선이고, 장점은 교사의 반성적 사고능력을 발달시키는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 임상장학 실시에 따른 문제점은 장학요원과 교사의 과중한 업무부담이며, 임상장학 활성화 방안은 장학요원을 대상으로 하는 체계적인 훈련프로그램의 제공을 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 임상장학의 실시 현황을 알아본 결과 65% 정도의 유아교사들은 임상장학을 연평균 1~3회 실시하고 있었으며, 69% 정도의 유아교사들은 장학요원 관련 연수 경험이 전혀 없는 것으로 분석되었다.

This study was performed to provide elementary knowledge for clinical supervision that can be applied to early childhood education more effectively by investigating the understanding and current situation of kindergarten teachers for clinical supervision. The results of questionnaire research of 272 kindergarten teachers are like followings.
1. Regarding the recognition of kindergarten teachers for clinical supervision, Most of kindergarten teachers are thinking that 1)they do not understanding what is clinical supervision exactly and 2)clinical supervision is necessity and 3)the clinical supervision is very helpful for improvement of teaching activity and 4)the clinical supervision has a feature to improve reflective thinking and 5)the problem for performing the clinical supervision is that excessively heavy work is a burden for both kindergarten teachers and supervisors and 6)Providing systematic training is necessity for activation of clinical supervision.
2. Regarding current situation of clinical supervision, 65% of kindergarten teachers has performed clinical supervision 1 to 3 times in a year, and 69% of kindergarten teachers has no experience of refresher course of supervision.
