상황요인에 따른 지식경영 전략과 성과의 관계에 대한 연구 = A Study on the Relationship between Knowledge Management Strategy and Performance by the Contingency Factors

국문 초록 (Abstract)

21세기 지식기반 경제에서 기업의 지속적인 경쟁우위의 습득 및 유지는 지식을 어떻게 창출공유활용하는가에 달려 있다. 경쟁우위를 효과적으로 창출, 습득, 유지하기 위한 방법으로 지식경영, 조직학습, 학습능력 등이 중요한 개념으로 부각되고 있다. 그러나 기존 연구를 살펴보면 지식경영전략에 대한 연구들이 많지 않은 편이며, 상황요인을 고려하여 구체적으로 지식경영전략과 성과의 관계를 분석한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다.
따라서 본 연구에서는 지식경영을 실행하고 있는 우리나라의 101개 기관을 대상으로 지식경영전략과 성과의 관계와 상황요인의 역할을 실증 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 지식경영전략은 성과에 일반적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조직의 규모와 연령은 성과의 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하지만 산업은 학습 및 성장성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지식경영전략과 성과의 관계에 있어서 부호화전략보다는 인격화전략이 성과에 미치는 영향이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과와 함께 본 연구의 의미와 한계 및 앞으로의 연구방향을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the 21st century knowledge based economy, the key success factor to acquire and sustain the continuous competitive advantage is depend on how the organization create, share and utilizing the knowledge. Recently, knowledge management, organizational learning and learning capabilities are supposed to as an important concept to create, acquire and maintain the competitive advantage effectively. But the studies on the knowledge management strategy are very limited. More specifically, there are almost no research about the relationship between the knowledge management strategy and performance by the contingency factors.
The purposes of this study are to investigate the relationship between knowledge management strategy and performance and to find out the impact of contextual factors on the relationship. Based on a research framework, survey analysis was conducted with the 101 organizations that implementing the knowledge management.
As a result, first, the paper suggested that the knowledge management strategy has a significant positive relationship with the performance generally. Second, organizational size and age have no significant impact on the performance. But the industry has a significant impact on the learning and growth performance. Third, the personalization strategy impact more higher than the codification strategy on the performance. Finally, the implications, limitations of the study and future research directions are discussed
