고교 평준화 정책과 고교생의 친구관계와의 상호작용이 자아존중감에 미치는 효과 = The cross-level interaction effects between the high school equalization policy and peer relationship of high school students on their self-esteem

The purpose of this study is to explore how the high school equalization policy influences on high school students' self-esteem. Specifically, this study investigated the cross-interaction effects between the high school equalization policy and peer relationship of high school students on their self-esteem.
The study analyzed the representative national high school sample data collected by the Korean Educational Development Institute in 2003. The analytical methods were simple correlation and 2-level multilevel analysis including cross-level interaction terms. The results show that there exist interaction effects between students' peer relationship and the high school equalization policy especially on students' negative self-esteem.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 평준화 정책의 효과에 대한 기존의 연구들이 학교교육의 인지적 성과만을 연구 주제로 삼으며, 학교간 단순 평균을 비교하거나 교정 평균을 분석하는 방법을 이용해 온 한계를 극복하려는 관점에서 출발하였다. 이에 평준화 정책이 학교교육의 정의적 성과인 자아존중감에 미치는 효과에 관심을 기울이고, 2수준 다층모형의 층위간 상호작용 분석법을 이용하여 자아존중감에 대한 친구관계의 영향력이 평준화 정책과 비평준화 정책에 따라 차별성을 갖는지 분석하였다.
