초등학교 교원의 전문성 신장과 인센티브 인식간의 관계 연구 = The Relationship between Teacher Professionalism and Incentives Perceived by Elementary School Teachers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the professionalism of a teacher and the incentives for the development of the professionalism, as perceived by elementary school teachers. The statistical methods applied for the data analysis was：correlation and regression analysis to analyze the relationship between the professionalism of teachers and the incentives. By literature review, open-ended surveys, and experts' judgements, the items for the professionalism of teachers and the incentives were selected. To test the validity of these items, the three round Delphi techniques and surveys were administered.The incentive factor had various and even influences on each of the factors of professionalism. This result shows that the incentive factor was very suitable for the improvement of the professionalism of teachers, and was a very necessary policy to guarantee the motives of teachers. Therefore, to improve the professionalism of teachers, a program which can check and correspond to the need for incentives should be developed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 초등학교 교사의 전문성 신장과 인센티브와는 어떤 관계가 있는지를 알아보고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 초등학교 교사에 대한 전문성과 인센티브에 관련된 문헌을 고찰한 뒤, 기초연구 대상들의 개별적 견해를 수렴하여 문항을 작성한 후 전문가 집단에 의한 델파이(Delphi)기법을 통해서 내용 타당도를 확보한 질문지를 만들었다. 주요 연구결과를 살펴보면 인사 및 재정 인센티브는 자기 개발 노력의 전문성과 관련이 있으며, 사기와 복지 인센티브는 학급경영의 전문성과 관련이 있고, 정책 인센티브는 생활지도와 학급경영의 전문성과 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 본 연구결과에 기초한 교사의 전문성 신장을 위한 효과적인 인센티브 정책 수립에 대한 방안을 제시하였다.
