학교훈육프로그램의 개발준거 설정 논의 = A search on the criteria for development of school discipline program

Student discipline is a major area of concern for all teachers. Even experienced teachers observe that their most troublesome issue is the issue of discipline in the school. Discipline problems are students' problem. The most important objective of any system of school management is the prevention of discipline problems.
The purpose of this study is search on criteria for development of school discipline program. For this, basic supposition is regard to the student respect, acknowledgement of teacher's right, and growth of student. Also, a basis of the following theoretical background: Wolfgang and Glickman's school of thought framework as a interactionalist strategy, French and Raven's social bases of power framework under referent power, the Rogerian view within the Skinner-Rogers' dichotomy, management and influence within the Lewis' theoretical framework, and Burden's degree of control under medium control approaches. And, a search of criteria on the school discipline program is based on procedural and methodological approach. These factors are investigation of school discipline problems, formulation of school discipline objectives, selection of school discipline contents, establishment of school discipline methods, implementing the program, and evaluation of the program.
A search of criteria is bring out development of various school discipline program. It is a new attempt to students and teachers. Ultimately, it is a basic framework for development of school discipline program.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

학교훈육은 모든 사람의 관심사이면서 일반적인 특성을 지녀온 까닭에 무시되어 온 경향이 있다. 그러나 훈육의 문제는 모든 학생의 문제이며, 이들 문제행동은 대부분의 학교에 다양하고 광범위하게 존재하고 있다. 그러므로 학교에서의 효과적인 훈육은 매우 절실한 과제이며, 이에 따라 훈육프로그램의 개발에 대한 요청이 시급한 현실이다. 이러한 현실에 비추어 볼 때 학교훈육에 필요한 기본적 틀을 안내해 주는 훈육프로그램이 필요하며, 프로그램의 개발을 위한 기초 작업이 요구된다. 즉 학교훈육프로그램의 개발을 위한 준거의 설정이 이루어져야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 훈육의 의미를 탐색하고, 훈육의 의미에 보다 근접하는 학교훈육프로그램 개발을 위한 기본 가정을 규정하여 이를 전제로 여러 가지 측면에서의 준거를 설정하여 논의하고자 한다. 그리하여 학교훈육프로그램 개발의 방향을 안내하는 데에 그 목적을 둔다.
