취업장애인의 직업유지에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 = A Study on Factors Affecting Duration of Job Maintenance of People with Disabilities of Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

An attempt was made to investigate factors affecting duration of job maintenance of people with disabilities of Korea by using data on the national survey on people with disabilities which was conducted in 2000.
The duration of job maintenance was analyzed with socio-economic factors, disability-related factors, job related factors. Among these factors, variables of age, educational attainment, limitation on daily living activities, wage, employment status(self-employed), part-time or full-time worker, and satisfaction in the job have statistically significant effect on the duration of job maintenance of people with disabilities.
The duration of job maintenance is likely to increase for older workers, for workers with high wage, and for workers with self-emplyed, full-time workers, whreas the duration of job maintenance is likely to decrease for those who educated more.
The results of this analsis implies that the vocational rehabilitation services, in particular, the job-evaluation and the follow-up services for those already emplyed, should be strengthened.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 취업한 장애인의 직업유지기간에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위하여 인구사회학적 변수, 장애 관련변수, 그리고 임금이나 직업만족도 등 취업관련 변수로 나누어 교차분석, 상관분석, 그리고 회귀분석을 실시한 것이다. 분석 자료는 2000년에 실시한 장애인 실태조사 결과를 활용하였다. 분석 결과 장애인의 직업유지에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 연령, 교육수준, 일상생활 제한 여부, 임금, 상용근로자 여부, 자영업 여부 등인 것으로 나타났다. 연령, 결혼상태는 직업 유지에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 기존의 선행 연구와 유사한 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 장애유형이나 일상생활 제한변수를 추가하였을 경우 근속기간에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 임금수준 역시 근속기간에 영향을 미치고 있으며, 상용근로자 여부변수는 그 만큼 직업의 안정성이 보장되고 또한 직업에 대한 만족도가 높아져 근속기간이 길어지는 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 또한 자영업을 하는 경우 직업유지기간이 긴 것으로 나타났다.
따라서 장애인의 직업유지기간을 연장하기 위해서는 직업재활서비스가 취업알선으로 끝나서는 안되며, 취업 후에도 장애인의 능력과 적성에 맞는 훈련 및 평가, 철저한 직업평가, 그리고 사후관리의 강화를 통해 높은 임금과 함께 상용근로자 등 고용의 안정성을 위한 서비스가 요청된다는 것이다. 또한 장애인의 직업유지에는 자영업이 매우 중요하므로 장애인의 창업 지원 등 이러한 직업재활 서비스의 강화가 필요하며, 직장내 고용의 안정성을 의미하는 상용직으로의 전환을 통해 이직을 낮추고 직업유지기간을 연장함으로써 장애인의 경제적 자립과 삶의 질 향상을 도모하여야 할 것이다.
