북한이탈주민에 대한 정착교육 평가 및 방향 = Assessment and Direction of Resettlement Training on North Korean Defectors in South Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

북한이탈주민들은 하나원 교육과 정부의 정착지원 체계에 대하여 대체로 만족감을 보이고 있다. 그러나 북한이탈주민의 생활환경은 매우 좋지 않은 것으로 나타난다. 특히 남한사회 적응의 가장 중요한 부분을 차지하는 경제적응과 심리적응은 상대적으로 낮은 상태이다. 북한이탈주민 정착을 위한 정책의 주요 사항은 입국증가에 대한 대처능력 확보, 초기 정착의 고비용 저효율 시스템 개선, 자립정착 의지 제고로 요약될 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

North Koreans in South Korea are mostly expressing satisfaction towards government's resettlement and support system as well as Hanawon training. But life standards of North Koreans in South Korea indicate poor situation. In particular, economic and mental adjustment which take very important portions of their adjustment in South Korea are in relatively low level. Major issues for North Korean resettlement policy are reinforcement of ability to manage increasing arrival of North Koreans, improving high-cost low-efficiency system for early resettlement, and promotion of self-reliance in resettlement.
