임상현장 학령기 환아를 대상으로 한 사회성 증진 프로그램의 효용성 연구 = The clinical effectiveness of social competence programwith school-aged children in clinical setting

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 임상현장에서 대부분의 환아들에게 공통적으로 문제가 되는 사회적응 곤란을 향상시키고자 사회성 증진 프로그램을 실시하여 그 치료적 효용성을 검증하는 것이다. 연구대상은 소아정신과에 내원하여 다양한 심리장애로 진단된 환아 중 사회성이 저조하다고 조작적으로 정의된 아동이며, 치료집단에게만 사회성 증진 프로그램을 실시하였다. 치료집단은 총 19명(남아 12명, 여아 7명), 통제집단은 총 22명(남아 17명, 여아 5명)이였다. 치료집단과 통제집단의 사전 동질성이 확보되지 않아, 치료효과 검증 시 사전 검사치를 공분산으로 하는 공분산 분석을 실시하였다. 공분산 분석 결과, 임상가가 평정한 의사소통 기술 및 그 하위요인에 있어서는 집단 간 차이가 유의미하였고, 치료집단이 통제집단에 비해 의사소통 기술의 상승 폭이 유의하게 컸다. 그 밖의 영역에서는 통계적으로 의미있는 치료효과를 발견하기 어려웠고, 부모의 평정과는 상이하게 오히려 치료집단의 경우 아동이 평정한 자기통제 및 교사가 평정한 자기주장이 감소된 것으로 나타나는 등 불일치하는 결과를 보였다. 비록 임상현장에서 실시한 사회성 증진 프로그램의 효용성이 전반적인 영역에서 유의하지 않았으나, 의사소통 기술과 관련해서는 고무적인 치료효과가 나타난 것으로 평가된다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 임상적 시사점과 연구의 제한점 그리고 후속 연구에 대해 제언하였다.
