유아놀이에 관한 학술지 연구논문(1995-2004)의 경향 분석 = An Analysis of Play research(1995-2004) in Early Childhood Education

An Analysis of Play Research(1995-2004) in Early Childhood EducationHwang, Yoon-Se This study analyzed the general trends in play research conducted in the area of early childhood education. For this purpose, total 141 play articles were selected from the 6 Korean academic journals published from 1995 to 2004 in the field of early childhood education. The results of this study are as follows. First. in play type, cognitive play was more frequently studied than social play. Second, in dramatic play research, dramatic play was more frequently studied than make-believe and symbolic play. Third. in play environment, personnel environment research was more frequently studied than physical environment research. Fourth, Quantitative and experimental research were the most frequently applied research design and type. Fifth, in subject sampling, young children were the most frequently sampled population. Finally Statistical techniques were variously applied according to there research aims in data analysis methods.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아놀이 연구의 중요성에 입각하여 유아놀이 연구가 그동안 어떻게 진행되어 왔으며 또 그 방법론상의 특징은 무엇인지를 유아놀이 관련 학술지 논문 분석을 통해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 1995년부터 2004년까지 발간된 학술지중 한국한술진흥재단에 등재 및 등재후보인 정기학술지 여섯 종을 중심으로 놀이관련 논문 141편을 발췌하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 유아놀이연구의 유형을 분석한 결과, 사회적 놀이에 비해 인지적 놀이연구의 비중이 더 높았으며, 그 중에서도 집단놀이, 극 놀이, 집단게임이 꾸준히 연구되어온 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 극 놀이 연구 중에서는 사회극 놀이, 가상놀이, 상징놀이 순서로 연구되었으며, 주제 면에서는 극 놀이와 유아발달과의 관계를 다룬 연구가 가장 많았다. 셋째, 놀이환경 면에서는 물리적 환경보다 인적 환경에 대한 연구가 많았다. 넷째, 연구 방법론적 측면에서 연구유형은 양적 연구와 실험연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌다. 다섯째, 연구대상 면에서는 유아, 교사, 특수아, 아동, 영아와 부모의 순서로 이루어졌다. 여섯째, 자료 분석방법은 연구목적에 따라 모수적 방법과 비모수적 방법이 다양하게 적용된 것으로 나타났다.
