한국 후기구석기시대 석기군의 종류와 성격 = The cultural continuities and innovations in the Korean Upper Palaeolithic culture along with its interactions

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Lithic assemblages from the representative sites found in the Korean Peninsula have been analyzed by sub-group units such as core tools, flake tools, blade tools, and micro-blade tools. Additionally, numerical dates have been also reviewed. The ``Blade industries`` consisting of blade tools, flake tools, and core tools had appeared around 40,000 14C yr BP and the ``Micro-blade industries`` including micro-blade tools, blade tools, flake tools, and core tools had emerged around 25,000 14C yr BP. As a result, it is considered that the Upper Palaeolithic inhabitants of the Korean Peninsula had selectively inherited the previous traditions and they had newly developed innovative technologies. In addition, it is presumed that the interactions between the Upper Palaeolithic inhabitants of the Korean Peninsula and those of the Japanese archipelago had been relatively active during MIS 2 on basis of sharing the same types of tools in both areas supported by the scientific investigations on the origin of obsidian (for example, obsidian from the Mountain Baekdu or Kyushu) found in southern areas of the Korean Peninsula.
