여성결혼이민자의 취업효과성에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 = A Study on the Effectiveness of the Employment of Female Marriage Immigrants

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 다문화 가정의 여성결혼이민자들이 한국에 들어와 취업을 하는데 결정적으로 영향을 미치는 요인, 즉 여성결혼이민자의 개인특성과 이들의 취업지원을 위해 각 지자체별로 운용하고 있는 다문화가족지원센터의 특성들이 이들의 취업에 어떤 영향을 미치고 있는지에 대한 취업 효과성을 분석하는 데 있다. 현재까지 국내에 들어와 살고 있는 여성결혼이민자들에 관한 연구 동향을 살펴보면, 아직까지도 가정의 생계지원과 한국사회에서의 정착이라는 소극적인 복지 차원을 넘어서지 못하고 있음을 여실히 확인할 수 있다. 즉, 사회문화적 적응을 주제로 한 여성결혼이민자들의 사회통합 방안을 모색하는 연구가 대부분의 주류를 형성하고 있으나, 이들의 경제적 적응 맥락에서 논의하고 있는 사회통합 연구는 오히려 매우 희소한 실정이다. 특히 여성결혼이민자들의 취업 창구라고 할 수 있는 다문화가족지원센터를 이용한 이들의 노동시장 진입과 노동시장에서의 취업 가능성에 관한 실증적 연구는 매우 미흡한 실정이다.
그러나 여성결혼이민자들의 한국사회 적응문제를 논의할 때는 보다 한 차원 높은 근원적인 문제들, 즉 취업이나 소득향상 등 경제적인 적응문제로의 전환이 시급하다. 왜냐하면 이들의 경제적인 안정성 문제는 그 세대에서만 그치는 것이 아니라, 빈곤의 다세대간 전이라고 하는 장기적인 문제로 악순환이 대물림될 수 있기 때문이다. 따라서 이들에 대한 경제적 관심 촉구는 국가적·사회적으로 매우 필요하다. 특히 취업은 이들에게 단순한 생계유지를 위한 수단만이 아니라, 사회의 실질적인 구성원이 되도록 하는 발판을 제공한다는 점에서 더욱 중요하다.
또한 직업이 없는 여성결혼이민자들은 정부와 소속된 지역사회에 커다란 부담을 지우게 되고, 공정한 보수를 받지 못하는 여성결혼이민자들은 비슷한 기술능력을 가진 내국인들에게 임금의 걸림돌을 형성하게 된다는 점에서 이들의 취업이 사회통합을 이루는데 빠질 수 없는 필수적인 요소인 것이다. 따라서 여성결혼이민자들에 대한 취업 효과성 연구는 우리사회가 지향해야 하는 이들과의 사회통합을 위해서는 필수적인 연구 분야이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is analysis of the effectiveness of the employment about decisive factors of employment of female marriage immigrants of multi-cultural family in Korea, which are, about their individualities and characteristics of multi-cultural family support centers for their employment supporting classified by districts. According to studies about female marriage immigrants living in Korea, it is just passive welfare that contains supporting livings and settlement in Korea so far. That is, although the mainstream of these studies are about the ways of their social and cultural adaptation and unity, it is very rare to discuss on female marriage immigrants in economically. Especially, there are only few studies about entering the labor market and getting employment by using multi-cultural family support centers which are gateway of Female marriage immigrants employment.
However, when discuss adaptation of female marriage immigrants to Korean society, it has to deal with more fundamental issues, namely economical adaptation problems such as employment or improvement of income. Because the problem about securing their economical stability is not only matters just that generation, but also matters next generations with the vicious circle of poverty. Consequently, an economical interest in them is strongly required nationally and socially. Particularly, employment is necessary for them to join the social community as well as to keep their lives.
Moreover, their employment is requisite for the social unity because unemployed female marriage immigrants are a burden to the government and their local community, also female marriage immigrants, who are paid unfairly make obstacles to wages of home workers who have similar abilities. In these reasons, Study on the effectiveness of the employment of Female marriage
immigrants is essential research area for the social unity with people who go ahead with our community.
