Two different ways of presenting six movement task was experimentally tested in a 2(group)x2(dimension) factorial design A total of forty volunteers consisting of 20 ballerina and 20 traditional Korean dancers (male and ferrule university students) was assigned to two experimental conditions; i.e., 1) subjects were required to perform rising sinking spreading enclosing advancing and retreating to six directions in 1-diirension, and 2) subjects were asked to perform floating, punching gliding slashing dabbing. Wring, flicking pressing up to the 8 apices of cube in 3-dinension. Analyses of movement performance showed differences of effort attribution according to dance styles and movement dimension. As a result of analysis of effort structure, movement pattern of Korean traditional dance and ballet in 1-dinEnsion showed a strong effort disaffinities and in 3-dinension effort affinities. Ballet has a strong tendency of effort disaffinities while traditional Korean dance effort affinities.
