읽기 연구의 최근 동향과 과제 -국내외 2005년부터 2이0년까지의 연구를 중심으로- = Recent Trends in Reading Research and Its Application -Analyzing journal articles 1mm 2005 to 2010-

The study investigated recent trends in reading research and offered implications. First, 301 journal articles from Reading Research of Korea Reading Association and Reading Research Quarterly from International Reading Association, published from 2005 to 2010, were analyzed to identify research trends. Survey results of professionals were also analyzed to articulate findings about recent trends in reading research both inside and outside of South Korea. The study found out that, in 2005-2010 Reading Research, topics on 1) reading theories and concepts, 2) literature, and 3) reading instruction were most popular. On the contrary, articles in RRQ mainly examined issues in literacy practices, beginning reading, fluency, reading skills, comprehension, and technology. Discussing the gap between Reading Research and RRQ about research trends, the study emphasized 4 areas (comprehension, adolescent literacy, teacher education, and technology) for further research.
