유아의 기질과 어머니 양육태도가 유아의 문제 행동 및 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향 : 인지적 실행기능의 매개효과를 중심으로 = The effect of preschooler's temperament and maternal parenting attitude on preschooler's problem and prosocial behaviors -Focusing on the mediating effect of cool executive function

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 기질과 어머니의 양육태도가 유아의 내재화 및 외현화 문제 행동, 친사회적 행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 유아의 인지적 실행기능이 매개역할을 하는지를 규명해보는 것이다. 이를 위해 D시의 유아교육기관에 재원 중인 만3-5세 유아와 그들의 어머니 207쌍, 그리고 유아의 담임교사 16명을 대상으로 실험과 질문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 자료는 SPSS 18 프로그램과 AMOS 18프로그램을 이용하여 상관분석 및 경로분석을 통해 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 유아의 기질은 인지적 실행기능과 내재화 문제 행동에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 유아의 인지적 실행기능은 내재화 및 외현화 문제행동, 그리고 친사회적 행동에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 유아의 인지적 실행기능은 기질이 내재화 및 외현화 문제행동, 친사회적 행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 유의미한 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 유아의 인지적 실행기능 향상을 통해 유아기 문제 행동을 예방하고 친사회적 행동을 증진시키기 위한 교육 프로그램 및 중재 프로그램 개발의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the mediating effect of preschooler's cool executive function on the preschooler's temperament, maternal parenting attitude, preschooler's internal and external problem behaviors, and prosocial behaviors. Participants for this study were 207 preschoolers of 3 to 5 years of age attending kindergartens and child care centers, their mothers of 207, and 16 teachers in a D city. Data were analyzed by using correlation analysis and path analysis with SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The major research findings of this study were as follows. 1) Preschooler's temperament affected cool executive function and internal problem behaviors. 2) Preschooler's cool executive function affected internal and external problem behaviors and prosocial behaviors. 3) Preschooler's cool executive function mediated the effects of temperament on internal and external problem behaviors and prosocial behaviors, The findings of the study is expected to contribute to design intervention programs to prevent problem behaviors and improve prosocial behaviors.
