중학교 기술·가정 교과 담당교사의 직무에 관한 연구 = A Study for Job on Technology and Home Economic Subject Teachers' Occupation at the Middle Schools

This study has been carried out in an effort to find out on the job scope which is required among middle school teachers in the subject technology and home economics, then to identify the specific tasks of there job for the systemization of them.For this study, eight teachers who majored in technology or home economics in the college, have gathered to analyze the job of the teachers using the development of curriculum(DACUM). As a result of it, the jobs of the teachers have been classified into 10 duties and 164 subsequent tasks, while the teachers' entry jobs have been divided into 102 tasks that are necessary in the college before appointment. The result of analysis which investigates the relation between the importance, the degree of difficulty and the frequency of the tasks, has it that the number of high-significancy business rises to 77(47%), high degree of difficulty business reaches to 56(34.1%), high frequency business is 66(40.2%), high degree of significancy and difficulty business stands at 32(19.5%), high significancy and frequency business amounts to 38(23.2%), high degree of difficulty and frequency business accounts for 10.4% (17 tasks), and high degree of significancy, difficulty and frequency business reaches to 12(7.3%) respectively.These results should be actively reflected on the college curriculum before teacher service, and on the job retraining courses for the incumbent teachers, so as to enhance their job competency.
