청소년 신체활동과 지역사회요인의 관계 = Adolescent Physical Activity and Community Factors

국문 초록 (Abstract)

지역사회요인과 청소년의 신체활동 여부와의 관계를 실증적 자료를 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구에는 한국청소년패널자료 중2패널의 5차년도 자료를 이용하였다. 청소년의 신체활동과 상관관계를 고찰하고자 하는 지역사회 요인은 인지적 요인과 구조적 요인으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 한국청소년패널자료로부터 인지적 요인에 해당하는 비공식적 통제와 네트워크, 무질서도, 지역사회에서 느끼는 두려움 등의 변수를 구성하였다. 다양한 2차 통계자료를 활용하여 빈곤율, 외국인비율, 거주안정성, 체육시설 보급률, 농어가인구비율, 청소년유해환경 등의 변수를 구성하여 연구모형에 포함하였다. 위계적 자료구조의 특성을 고려하여 무선효과다층로짓회귀분석 모형을 이용하였다. 연구결과 비공식적 통제와 네트워크, 무질서도, 청소년유해환경 등의변수가 청소년의 신체활동 여부와 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과의 함의와 연구의 제한점에 대한 논의를 포함하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The relationship between community factors and adolescents` physical activity was analyzed using empirical data. This study utilized the data from the Korea Youth Panel Study (Junior High panel: 5th year). In relation with adolescent physical activity, the community factors were examined in terms of both perceptual and structural factors. The perceptual factors included informal control and network, disorganization, and community fear, which were derived from the Korea Youth Panel Study data. The structural factors including poverty rate, the proportion of foreign residents, residential stability, exercise facility supply, rural population rate, and hazardous environmental factors were constructed using various secondary data. Considering hierarchically nested data structure of this study, a series of random effect multilevel logistic regression models were analyzed. Results showed that informal control and network, disorganization, and hazardous environmental factors were associated with adolescents` physical activity. Implications and limitations of the study were discussed.
