청소년의 사이버폭력 피해에 관한 연구 = A Study on the cyber-violence victimization of juveniles - Focusing on the juvenile delinquency factor and local community factor-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 시대 변화에 따라 새롭게 증가하고 있는 청소년의 사이버폭력 피해원인을 차별교제이론과 지역사회환경 모델에 기초하여 설명하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 경기도 A군에 소재하고 있는 4개 학교 중학생 320명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문방식을 통해 사이버폭력의 피해 경험을 조사하고 피해경험의 원인이 사이버 비행을 저지른 친구의 영향인지, 지역사회의 유해환경과 무질서가 피해경험을 증가시키는지를 분석하고자 하였다.
분석결과 차별교제이론이 설명하고 있는 이론적 내용인 비행자와의 접촉과 그들의 주변에 가까운 사람이 사이버폭력을 저지를수록 청소년의 사이버공간에서의 폭력피해가 증가하는 결과를 보여주었다. 또한 지역사회의 유해환경이 많이 노출된 청소년일수록 사이버폭력피해 경험이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.
이는 차별교제이론이 설명하고 있는 관점인 범죄에 대한 우호적인 집단과의 접촉을 통해 가해자가 되고 동시에 피해자도 될 수 있는 과정을 잘 보여주고 있다. 또한 지역사회의 유해환경과 사회적 무질서 그리고 물리적 무질서는 범죄의 원인이 되거나 범죄의 두려움을 발생시키는 것으로 알려져 있는데, 사이버폭력 피해를 경험한 청소년 역시 유해환경에 다수 노출되어 있는 것으로 보아 사이버폭력에도 유해환경이 중요한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explain the causes of cyber-violence victimization of juveniles, which are newly increasing according to the changes of time, based on the differentiation association theory and the local community environment model. A self-administration method questionnaire was used for 320 middle school students that are attending 4 different schools located in A-gun, Gyeonggi-do in order to research their experience of cyber-violence victimization and analyze if the causes of their experiences of receiving violence are the effects of friends who committed cyber-violence misconducts, and if the harmful environment and disorder of local community increase their experiences of receiving damages.
The analysis result showed that the increase of contact with delinquents and the cyber-violence by their acquaintances, which are theoretical contents of the differentiation association theory, increased the cyber-violence victimization of juveniles. In addition, it was revealed that the juveniles that are extensively exposed to the harmful environment of local community experienced more cyber-violence victimization.
This well showed the process of becoming the suffer as well as the wrongdoer through the contact with groups that are favorable to crime, which is a perspective explained by the differential association theory. In addition, the harmful environment of local community, social disorder and physical disorder are known to become the causes of crime or cause the fear of crime, and considering that many juveniles that have experienced cyber-violence victimization are also exposed to harmful environment, it was found that harmful environment also has important effects on cyber-violence.
