대학생의 시간관리전략과 관련변인 연구 = A Study on the Time Management Strategies and Related Factors in College Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to grasp the general trends and levels of time management strategies and the effects of their related factors on time management strategy in college students. To achieve this purpose, questionnaires were distributed to three colleges in Seoul and Gyeonggi and another three colleges in Gwangju and Jeonnam. 500 questionnaires were returned and 461 were used for analysis. The following results were obtained. First, the whole time management strategies of college students were above-average level and the priority strategy which decides an order according to the urgency and importance of things and proceeds things was used most frequently. Second, for the correlation between the whole time management strategies and subareas, the most important element for time management strategy was to set a goal and make a plan according to the goal and to decide priority and proceed things. Finally, for factors influencing the whole time management strategies in college students, higher academic results, colleges located in Seoul, showed higher use of time. Based on these results, it is suggested to develop and educate time management programs suitable for the levels of college students and improve their ability to manage time as a self-manger.
