중등체육교사양성 교육과정 연구 = A study on the curriculum development of secondary physical education teacher education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 바람직한 중등체육교사양성을 위한 체육교사교육과정을 개발하는 데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 연구의 내용은 첫째, 문헌연구를 통하여 미국의 체육교사교육의 역사 및 철학에 관해 살펴보고 둘째, 국내의 체육교사교육기관의 교육과정의 현황 및 문제점을 진단하며 셋째, 소망스런 체육교사양성을 위한 교육과정안을 제시하는 것이다. 미국의 체육교사양성은 1861년 Dio Lewis에 의해 시작되어 1차 대전 후는 국가가 많은 관심을 기울이며 제 법률을 제정하였고 지금까지 교사양성의 질 제고를 위한 노력을 경주하고 있다. 미국의 체육교사양성에 관한 철학적인 입장은 진보주의, 본질주의 및 분석철학적 입장으로 나타났다. 우리나라 체육교사교육과정의 문제점으로는 크게 교사양성기관의 정체성 결여, 교육과정의 비전문성, 교육실습의 미흡, 교육과정평가의 부재 및 교사양성기관의 졸업학점 감소추세가 부각되었다. 이 문제점들을 바탕으로 하여 교육과정 개선방향을 제시하였으며 중등체육교사교육과정안을 만들어 보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this study was to develop a physical education teacher education(PETE) curriculum for training desirable physical education teachers. To accomplish the purposes, Firstly, a review literature was executed about the historical and philosophical basis of PETE in the United States. Secondly, the issues and present status was diagnosed by the analysis of PETE curriculum in Korea. Finally, This study was to suggest the curriculum for training teachers that we pursue. PETE of the United State was begun by Dio Lewis in 1861. After the World War Ⅰ, rules and regulations on teacher education was established and making efforts to improve it by nowadays. Emerging philosophical views of teacher education were progressivism, essentialism, and philosophy in the United States. The issues on PETE in Korea were lack of identity of teacher education institutes, lack of specialty of curriculum, short period of student teaching, absence of curriculum. This study was to suggested some ways to improve curriculum based on these issues, and made PETE curriculum.
