The purposes of this research were to investigate the impacts of academic major and department satisfaction, and perceived prestige of university and profession on intention to pursuit major related career among sport related majoring students. To achieve these purposes, 209 university students in four universities who are majoring in sport related areas participated in this study. Structural equation analysis with LISREL 8.5, showed that fellows and curriculum satisfaction of students had a positive impact on major satisfaction. However, the impact of professor satisfaction on major satisfaction was not significant. In addition, perceived prestige of profession and major satisfaction of students had a positive impact on intentions to career selection. Finally, results showed that perceived prestige of university had a positive impact on major satisfaction, but the impact on intentions to career selection was not significant.
