양육신념에 따른 어머니의 양육스트레스, 사회적 지지, 양육효능감 연구 = A study on Parenting Stress, Social Support and Parenting Self-Efficacy between Parenting Belief

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explores the difference of parenting stress, social support, and parenting self-efficacy between mother's parenting belief.
Subjects of this study were 243 mothers of children aged 4 to 5 in Ulsan area. Measures were mother's parenting belief, mother's parenting stress, social support , parenting self-efficacy.
The findings of this study were as follows.
First, there is a difference of mother's parenting stress between parenting belief groups. mothers who had belief emphasizing personality perceived high parenting stress than intellectual achievement oriented mothers.
Second, there is a difference of mother's social support between parenting belief groups. mothers who had belief emphasizing personality perceived high social support than intellectual achievement oriented mothers.
Third, there is a difference of mother's parenting self-efficacy between parenting belief groups. mothers who had belief emphasizing personality perceived high parenting self-efficacy than intellectual achievement oriented mothers.
Fourth, According to the result of the regression analysis to grasp what variables would affect mother's parenting self-efficacy on parenting belief groups, for personality oriented group, revealed effective support influenced mother's general parenting self-efficacy, which explained 20% of variables. for intellectual achievement oriented group, revealed appraisal support, difficult child influenced mother's general parenting self-efficacy which explained 36% of variables.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 어머니의 양육신념에 따라 양육스트레스, 사회적 지지, 양육효능감이 어떠한 차이가 있는지, 그리고 양육신념에 따라 양육효능감에 미치는 관련 변인을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 U시의 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니를 대상으로 어머니의 일반적 특성, 양육효능감, 양육스트레스, 사회적 지지검사를 실시하였고 최종 234명이 선정되었다. 연구결과 첫째, 인성지향적인 신념을 지닌 어머니들이 양육스트레스를 적게 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인성지향적인 신념을 지닌 어머니들의 사회적 지지가 지적 성취집단의 어머니들보다 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 인성지향적인 신념을 지닌 어머니들이 지적 성취신념을 지닌 어머니들보다 더 높은 양육효능감을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 인성지향집단의 경우, 정서적 지지가 어머니의 양육효능감에 미치는 주요 설명 변인으로 나타난 반면, 지적 성취집단의 경우에는 평가적 지지, 자녀의 까다로운 기질이 양육효능감을 설명하는 주요 변인으로 나타났다.
