청각장애학생을 위한 독서지도 모형 개발

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The students of hearing loss indicated with poor speech and literacy development. Especially the reading ability of the hearing impaired students is about forth grade after education for twelve years. Therefore this study suggested a reading teaching model for the hearing impaired students. The main point to develop the reading model is how to increase the reading abilities as an important tool in school education and social interactions. The structure of the reading model developed based on: (a) the characteristics of the hearing impaired students such as the degree of hearing loss and language abilities as a learning condition; (b) relation with other subjects for language teaching; and (c) development of personality and lifelong education. Therefore this study suggested that various strategies and programs for teaching reading skills will be developed for the hearing impaired students.
