궁중무용 연구의 성과와 한계 = The outcome and the limitation of the Study on Korean Royal Court Dance

This study is purposed to grope for the research courses, the problems and the methods of research on Korean royal court dance. For this study, each separate books, theses, the research publications on different kinds of dances and also on sacrificial dance were classified and the relevant literature were compared and analyzed. The questions of the court dance research and the solutions would be expressed;

Firstly, the qualitative level and individuality of the research can be improved by growing deeply studied specialists for which subdivided school curriculums of dance may be required and also the theorists on dance must be cultivated and supported.
Secondly, the inconvenience of finding reference could be eliminated by setting up a place of opinion exchange where most of information materials are possessioned.
Finally, the method of research on the court dance can be diversified by means of common studies between each study groups and by exchanging actively the researches between other nations. Further, the next subject for the development of Korean royal court dance is how to make it popularized by expanding the study theme and by finding more practical use. Also, the versatile groping for prudent designating and transmitting national intangible cultural properties as well as the new creation of Korean royal court dance with the vision of next century meeting the demands of the times and the society must be investigated.
