포괄적 음악교육에 기초한 유아의 음악적 능력 증진 프로그램 개발 및 효과 = The Effects of a Comprehensive Music Education Program on the Development of Young Children's Musical Abilities

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 음악적 능력 증진을 위한 체계적이며 계획적인 음악적 환경과 교육이 유아기에 제공되어야 하는 필요성에 따라 포괄적 음악교육에 기초하여 유아의 음악적 능력 증진 프로그램을 구성하고 이를 유치원 교육 현장에 적용하여 유아의 음악적 인지능력 및 음악적 표현능력 증진에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 첫째, 유아기 음악교육과 관련된 문헌고찰과 제6차 유치원 교육과정의 유아 음악교육 목표 및 내용 분석을 통하여 프로그램의 기본방향을 설정하고 둘째, 유치원 음악교육 활동에 대한 실태 및 음악교육 활동에 대한 유치원 교사의 요구도 조사 결과를 반영하여 프로그램을 구성하고 셋째, 구성된 프로그램의 효과를 알아보기 위해 유치원의 5세 유아를 대상으로 프로그램을 적용하였다. 연구 결과, 본 연구에서 구성된 프로그램은 유치원의 일반교실 환경에서 유아의 음악적 인지능력 및 음악적 표현능력을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다.

This research was undertaken to develop a program to enhance young children's musical abilities based on a comprehensive music education that provides a systematic and well-planned musical environment and training. The program was implemented with kindergarten children in order to verify its effects on the improvement of young children's musical recognition ability and musical expression ability. To achieve these goals we first reviewed the literature on young children's music education and examined the 6th national kindergarten education curriculum. In developing the program we were mindful of easing the efforts to be required of kindergarten teachers undertaking the organization of such a program. The program was tested with 5-year-old kindergarten children to verify its educational effects. To sum up, this research demonstrates that the program developed in this study is effective in improving young children's musical recognition and expression abilities in a general kindergarten classroom environment.
