유아의 일상적 내러티브 조직의 성공과 방해 요인에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Successful and Obstructive Factors in the Narrative Formation of Young Children

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 일상적 내러터브는 상상적 내러티브 보다 더 먼저 발현되며 5세 경의 내러티브 발달에 큰 비중을 차지한다는 이론에 기초하여, 5세 또래 유아들의 자발적 대화에서 나타나는 일상적 내러터브 조직을 분석해 보고, 그 성공 요인과 방해 요인이 무엇인지를 탐색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 유치원의 만 5세반 유아 30명이었으며, 또래 유아간의 자발적 대화에서 일상적 내러티브 자료를 수집한 뒤 이를 질적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 유아들의 일상적 내러티브 조직의 성공요인으로는 화자와 청자의 공통된 경험, 사회자 역할을 하는 유아, 이야기를 많이 알고 있는 유아, 청자의 능동적인 참여로 분석할 수 있었다. 한편, 내러티브 조직을 방해하는 요인으로는 또래 유아들의 병렬적인 내러티브, 보다 영향력 있는 대화의 주제 개입, 청자의 비협조적 반응, 유아 개인의 의사소통능력 부족으로 분석할 수 있었다.

This study examines both successful and obstructive factors of the narrative formation of young children in peer children's voluntary conversations. Participants were thirty 5 year-old kindergarten children. The study reveals that the successful factors of narrative formation are the common experiences of both the storyteller and the listener, children who take on such roles as chairman, children who know many stories, and the active listening attitude of listener. Obstructive factors of narratives formation are parallel narratives between children, the addition of more influential narrative themes, listener's uncooperative responses, and children's insufficient communication competency.
