그림책을 활용한 유아예술교육 프로그램이 유아의 창의성에 미치는 효과 = The Effects of an Arts Education Program Using Picture-Books on Young Children's Creativity

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 그림책을 활용한 유아예술교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 이 프로그램이 유아의 창의성 증진에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 우선 그림책의 통합 예술적 특징과 Arts PROPEL을 활용하여 유아예술교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이 프로그램의 목적은 다음 세 가지이다: 첫째, 그림책의 글 읽기, 그림 읽기, 글과 그림의 관계 파악하기를 통하여 그림책에 담긴 다양한 예술영역의 풍부한 내용을 파악하고 즐거움을 느낄 수 있다. 둘째, 자신의 표현 및 제작 활동을 통하여 다양한 예술 영역에 대한 경험을 창의적으로 표현할 수 있다. 셋째, 평가와 반성의 과정을 통하여 자신의 작품을 수정함으로써 더욱 창의적인 작품으로 표현 할 수 있다. 프로그램의 내용은 선행연구 및 문헌연구를 통하여 그림책과 관련된 언어, 미술, 신체, 음악의 내용을 선정하였으며, 수업모형은 Arts PROPEL의 지각, 제작, 반성의 과정으로 추성하였다. 그리고, 만 5세 유치원 유아 111명을 대상으로 실험집단 61명과 비교집단 50명으로 나누어 그림책을 활용한 유아예술교육 프로그램이 언어, 미술, 신체, 음악 영역의 창의성에 미치는 효과를 검증하였다. 사전검사 결과, 실험집단과 비교집단 간의 영역별 유아창의성은 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 10주간의 처치 후, 실험집단과 비교집단 간의 영역별 유아창의성은 유의한 차이가 있었다. 그러므로 이 연구에서 개발된 그림책을 활용한 유아예술교육 프로그램은 언어, 미술, 신체, 음악 영역에서 유아의 창의성을 증진시키데 효과적이었음을 알 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study develops an Arts Education Program with Picture-books(AEPPB) for young children and examines its effects on creativity. The AEPPB was designed and developed based on the contents of the 6th National Kindergarten Curriculum, existing arts education programs for young children, and Arts PROPEL which was developed by Winner and his associates (1991) and features an entire process from perception, to production and reflection, as derived from multiple intelligence theory. The AEPPB in this study includes educational programs for music, fine arts, and literature. Picture-books are the primary medium for instruction. After completion of the design of this program it was applied to a preschool classroom to examine its effect on children's creativity for arts. This study was experimentally designed. The subjects of this study were as many as ill young children residing in Seoul and Kyonki Provincial areas. Subjects were divided into two groups: experimental and control. As many as 61 young children in the experiment group were scheduled to participated in the AEPPB using various instructional activities with picture books, while 50 children in the control group had the existing program. Children in both groups participated in the experiment for 10 weeks. K-CCTYC, a test for creativity in language, fine arts, and body expression, as well as MCSM, a test for creativity in music were administrated as pre- and the post-tests. The research findings show that the AEPPB was effective in enhancing young children's creativity in the subject areas of language, fine arts, body expression, and music. The results of the K-CCTYC and MCSM tests reveal that the pretests did not show any differences between the two groups, while the post tests showed that the experimental group demonstrated statistically significant higher scores on creativity in all four areas of language, fine art, body expression, and music.
