어머니 특성 및 유아의 기질과 유아의 부적응 행동과의 관계에 대한 연구 = A Structural Analysis of the Relationships Among Mothers' Characteristics, Young Children's Temperament and Maladjustment Behaviors

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 선행연구를 바탕으로 세운 이론적 모형의 검증을 통해 어머니의 특성과 유아의 기질이 어떻게 상호작용을 하여 유아의 부적응행동에 영향을 미치는가를 분석하기 위한 것이었다. 연구결과 유아의 부적응행동에 영향을 주는 변인들(어머니의 아동기 양육경험, 어머니의 심리적 특성, 어머니의 결혼 생활, 어머니의 양육행동, 유아의 기질)이 9개 경로를 통해 유아의 부적응행동에 직·간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 유아의 부적응행동에 직접적 영향력이 가장 큰 외생변인은 유아의 기질이고, 내생변인은 어머니의 양육행동으로 나타났다. 유아의 부적응행동에 간접적 영향력이 가장 큰 외생변인은 유아의 기질이고, 내생변인은 어머니의 결혼생활로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study's aim is to demonstrate the structural relations of mothers' characteristics and young children's temperaments to children's maladjustment behaviors. To this end, the following questions were posed: What is the structural relationship of children's maladjustment behaviors to the variables between mothers' characteristics and children's temperament, and what are their mutual effects? The results were as follows: Both exdogenous variables and endogenous variables directly or indirectly influence children's maladjustment behaviors by way of nine paths. Among exdogenous variables, the mothers' childhood experiences of parenting proved to have an indirect influence on their children's maladjustment behaviors through the mothers' marital relations and parenting style. Children's temperament influenced directly their maladjustment behaviors, but had an indirect effect through mother's parenting style. Among endogenous variables the most direct, influential predictable variable on a child's maladjustment behaviors appears to be a mother's parenting style. Psychological characteristics indirectly influenced children's maladjustment behaviors through parenting styles. However, mothers' marital relationships had the most direct influence on their parenting styles.
