창의적 극놀이 활동을 통한 유아 경제 교육 프로그램 개발과 적용에 관한 연구 = A Study on The Development and Application of a Dramatic Play Program for Children's Economic Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아를 위한 경제 교육 방안으로 창의적 극놀이를 활용한 프로그램을 개발하고 적용해 봄으로써 프로그램의 효과를 검증해 보고자 하였다. 문헌 및 선행 연구를 근거로 프로그램을 개발하였고 예비 적용 과정을 거쳐 수정·보완하였다. 프로그램의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 서울 S유치원의 5세 유아 2학급 중 한 학급을 통제 집단(30명)으로 또 다른 학급은 실험 집단(30명)으로 임의 배정하였다. 실험 집단을 대상으로 한 학기 동안 주 2회 총 26개의 활동을 작용하였다. 사전-사후 경제 개념 발달 검사를 통해 본 프로그램의 효과를 알아 본 결과, 실험 집단에서 희소성, 교환, 자원과 생산, 재화와 용역은 의미 있게 발달하였으나 화폐 가치, 기회 비용, 보충과 대안에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study verifies the effect a dramatic play in children's economic education. This economic education program for children was developed based on a review of the literature. Participants in the program were sixty 5 year-olds from two classes of a kindergartens in Seoul. An experimental group of 30 children participated in the program twice a week, a total of 26 times. An economic concept development test was administered before and after the treatment. The results indicate that the children in the experimental group showed significant growth in their understanding of the concepts of scarcity, exchange value, resource & production, and goods & services but they did not show significant difference in their grasp of momentary value, opportunity cost, and complements & substitutes.
