지역문화행사(이천 도자기축제)의 지역 경제파급효과에 관한 연구 = A Study of the Regional Economic Multiplier Impacts of Local Cultural Event - The Case of the Icheon Ceramic Festival -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic impacts of regional cultural event via using the regional input-output model. In order to achieve this purpose, we calculate output, employment and income multiplier impacts of the Icheon ceramic festival. The impacts of the Icheon ceramic festival on regional economy follow as: output was increased by 209 hundred million won, employment increased by 742 people, and income increased by 48 hundred million won. We have found that regional cultural event can be regarded as an important mean of regional economic policy.
We need a new following strategies to obtain highly positive impacts from regional cultural event. First, it needs to make networks among sight-seeing places, cultural remains, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment institutions, in order to make visitors expend much. Second, it is important to have better advertising strategies for successful festival. Third, it needs a endeavor which is a developed festival program.
