총체적 언어교육에 대한 몇 가지 오해 = A Study on the some misconceptions of whole languager

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

If you misunderstood whole language, and use this method than you can't show good points of value of whole language. Finally, you can mess up the whole language methodology.
Now, We should know about misunderstanding of whole language. So we check very usual misunderstanding points of whole language, and we should know why they are the problems. This effort can make whole language correct understand and it can has useful value in school situations.
This can tell problems of whole language: about language activities are integrated forms, it can be one methodology, whole language method is learning of foreign languages. it is understanding of literature, Just use in kindergarten and primary school

국문 초록 (Abstract)

총체적 언어 교육을 잘못 이해한 상태에서 적용하게 되면, 총체적 언어교육이 가지고 있는 고유한 가치를 드러내지 못하고 결국 총체적 언어교육 자체를 왜곡시킬 수 있다.
이 시점에서, 총체적 언어교육에 대해 잘못 이해하고 있는 점을 분명히 짚어볼 필요가 있다. 여기에서는 총체적 언어 교육에 대한 오해 중에서 대표적인 것을 살펴보고 이것이 왜 오해인지를 해명하고자 한다. 이러한 논의는 총체적 언어교육을 제대로 이해하게 하고, 학교 현장에서 이것의 가치가 제대로 드러내는 데 나름의 가치를 지닐 수 있으리라 기대된다.
이 글에서는 총체적 언어교육에 대해 활동이 있으면 통합이 되었다고 보는 점, 하나의 방법으로 파악한 점, 총체적 언어교육을 외국어 학습 이론으로 보는 점, 문학 중심으로 파악하는 점, 유치원이나 초등학교에서 적용될 수 있는 이론으로만 보는 점 등에서 문제가 있음을 지적했다.
