This study investigates the beginning kindergarten teachers' perception of difficulties and the influential significant others for teachers' role performance. The subjects of 40 kindergarten teachers in first year working experience were enrolled private kindergartens in the Seoul and Kyounggi School Distirict and had a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education. The survey was used by the questionnaire consisting of 47 questions on 6 types of teachers' role. In results, the beginning kindergarten teachers perceived a higher level of difficulty in performing their roles overall. The role of researcher and diagnosis maker were perceived the most difficult roles in their role performances. The most influential significant others for their role performance were the expert fellow kindergarten teachers, then, the principal and vice-principal of kindergarten.
