자아개념 측정도구의 타당화 연구 = The Identification and Measurement of Self-Concept

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 자아개념 검사를 타당화 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 한 개인이 "자기 자신에 대해서 어떻게 생각하고, 어떻게 느끼는가"에 대한 정보는 개개인이 자기 자신을 어떻게 지각하고 있는지를 정확히 파악함으로써 개인의 성격과 행동을 정확하게 이해하고, 그 개인의 행동을 진단ㆍ예언 가능하게 한다. 따라서 본 검사는 한 개인이 사회생활, 특히 학교생활에서 어떠한 방법으로 어떻게 행동하게 될 것인가를 비교적 타당하게 짐작할 수 있는 근거를 제공한다. 이러한 것은 결국 타당한 검사일 경우를 전제 한다.
구체적으로 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 자아개념의 특성을 정확하게 파악하고자 하는 기술적 입장에서 현재 피험자의 자아개념 특성 분포가 어떻게 구성되어 있는가를 이해할 수 있는 자료를 제공한다. 둘째, 자아개념이 이상적인 방향 혹은 부정적인 방향으로 발달할 가능성을 미리 알아내어 미연 방지를 시도하려는 예진적 목적을 충족할 수 있는 타당한 결과를 얻었다.
본 연구는 현재 중ㆍ고등학생의 자아개념을 진단하기 위해 새로운 규준 작성으로 재 표준화된 측정도구이다. 따라서 기존의 문항을 중심으로 현재 중ㆍ고등학생의 자아개념에 영향을 미치는 환경과 문화를 반영하여 수정ㆍ보완하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of the study are to investigate the conceptual framework and measurement model of self-concept and to develope and standardize the self-concept instrument.
The concrete objects are as follows:
1. Finding out the concepts and meaning of self-concept and establishing model of conceptual framework and measurement.
2. Making validity of self-concept test inventory through items which secure validity of reliability of each field on the basis of model of model of self-concept inventory.
The self-concept test was constructed on follows:
1. Defining the concept of self-concept through analyzing the related references.
2. Extracting the self-concept dimensions of the students by basic survey.
3. Conceptualizing the theoretical framework of self-concept instrument developed through professionals and theories related to self-concept.
4. Developing the draft items by subtests.
5. Adiministering the pilot test and analyzing the pilot test results to revise and validate the draft items.
The following statistical characteristics were estimated to verify the psychometric construct: face validity, construct validity, reliability, and item discrimination etc.
The self-concept test form developed by the above procedures has the following characteristics.
1. This inventory is made to diagnosis and describe self-concept related to self-feeling
2. This is a comprehensive inventory which is composed of self-concept
