예방적 정신간호를 위한 극복력 (Resilience) 개념의 탐색 = Analytical Review of Resilience for Preventive Mental Health Nursing

Resilience is a relevant concept to nurses because of its implication for nursing and health. Some individuals remain healthy and even become resilient when faced with multiple adverse life events. Nursing is concerned with individuals in the process of moving through adverse life events toward higher level of well-being. The purpose of this article was to enhance understanding of the concept of resilience so nurses can apply this concept in nursing practice and research. This article presented review and syntheses of selected journal publications on resilience that have appeared on Medline. This article described the concept of resilience, explored models of resilience disclosed in the literature, indentifies factors that influence resilience, examines the attributes of resilience, and reviews the previous researches. Nursing implications and future research were discussed. Conclusions were made for nurses to foster individual`s resilience.
