놀이를 좋아하는 아동에 대한 교사의 지각 = The Primary School Teachers` Perception of Playful Children

The purpose of this study was to investigate the primary school teachers’ perception of playful children. The subjects of this study were 211 primary school teachers(99 men and 112 women). Participants in this study were asked to describe a playful child in their primary school. Then the collected data were analyzed by content anlysis. Results of this study revealed that : First, according to the teachers’ description, the playful children showed desirable development in physical, motor, characteristic, social, emotional, linguistic, and intellectual development. Second, according to the teachers’ description, the playful children had various interests in playing activities and were highly humorous. Third, the playful children were perceived positively by their teacher. The teachers perceived that the playful children are cheerful, lively, sociable, active, healthy, intelligent, smart, creative, talented, eloquent, delightful, and humorous.
