유아기 감상교육에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Education of Music Appreciation in the Early Childhood

This paper aims to investigate the education of the music appreciation in early Childhood which is crucial period for the music education. This, accomplishing important music structure of music abilities, is the most basic among the various functions which deveiop music elements. In addition, this is why musical sense above all the other abilities is developed in the early childhood. The characteristics of the early children’s music development, the appreciation instruction after due consideration of the basic music function, and the instruction method able to help the early children’s musical abilities and balanced development were reviewed throughout the previous literatures. As the result that such musical basic concepts as tone, trochee, pitch, rhythm, and pattern were studied, It was found that instructions should not incline toward one side but let early children experience a lot of music environments to complete the inclusive music education. This research led to find a way of seeking a method for the instructors to understand the essence of music appreciation instruction and the characteristic of music ability development in the listening instruction in early childhood.
