This study builds a knowledge-based venture growth model and shows the empirical evidence by analyzing the surveyed dats. Venture growth model consists of confrontation of dominant problem. Knowledge activity reacting on it, and market response to the reconfiguration of the organization. Researhces on venture growth stage propose the sequential confrontation fo the dominant problem along the organizational life cycle. Advancing the proposition, this study suggests several hypotheses on the venture growth and knowledge activities. Based on the surveyed data of the KTB-backed ventures, hypotheses are tested and mostly supported. It provides and integrative theory to explain the core part of the entrepreneurial process. With the growth model, we can consult the struggling entrepreneurs to anticipate and realize the long-term growth and equip nasecent entrepreneurs, educators and policy-makers.
