「오발탄」을 통해 본 소설과 영화의 특성 연구 = A Study on difference between a novel and a film through 『Obaltan』

In this treatise, character of medium between novel and film are examined through Lee Bum0sun's novel 「Obaltan」 and Yoo Hyun-mok's film 「Obaltan」.
Novel 「Obaltan」focused on introspective hero Song Chul-ho's mental suffering and inferior period-environment surrounding him. So, novel 「Obaltan」 deecribed two element, outside-conflict connected with Chul-ho and his problem, and inside-conflict connected with Chul-ho and his problem, and inside-conflict connected with Chul-ho's interior psychology on Chul-ho's view of point.
Film 「Obaltan」 raised Young-ho's bank-robbery as core-incident by making new created character. Therefore in film 「Obaltan」, hero of novel, Chul-ho's standing was descend while vice-character of novel, Young-ho[s standing was ascend. This phenomenon was originated because Young-ho's extrovert human type was closer to plot of movie than Chul-ho's introvert human type.
In conclusion, I confirmed narrative method of novel and film was different each other depending upon character of each genre.
