유아음악 능력 평가도구 개발을 위한 기초연구 = A Fundamental Study to Develop an Evaluation Instrument of the Musical Ability in Early Childhood

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 3~5세 유아의 음악적 능력을 평가할 수 있는 수행평가도구로 음악적 기본 개념을 중심으로 유아교육현장에서 자주 사용되는 활동을 바탕으로 한 구조화된 수행평가도구를 6개 영역, 총 30문항으로 개발하여 전문가 집단에게 도구의 적절성을 검토받았으며 개발된 유아음악능력 평가도구를 3, 4, 5세 유아 86명에게 시범 적용하였다. 적용결과는 문항양호도, 평가도구의 신뢰도와 타당도를 알아보았다.

The purpose of this study, focusing on basic musical concepts, is to provide a foundation for development a structured performance evaluation instrument to measure musical abilities of children at the age of 3-5 and that is useful in a teaching-learning situation.
The results of this study are summarized as follows:
First, the first tentative plan for the evaluation instrument was produced. Early childhood music education related data were collected; evaluation areas and content dealt with during musical ability questionnaire on the first tentative plan was conducted of 20 early childhood music education specialists and early childhood education specialists, that examined the pertinence of the evaluation area, content, activity and criterion. As well, the evaluation activities were integrated and reduced to 3 activities. Therefore, a second tentative plan with total 6 areas and 30 items was completed. Third, the second tentative plan was trialed on t total of 86 boys and girls at the age of 3-5, and the significance of items as well as the instrument and differences according to gender and age were analyzed.
The evaluation instrument developed in this study can evaluate musical abilities in early childhood by each area, providing detailed information for active use in individualized education for understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each preschooler and reflecting them against the teaching-learning curriculum.
