We look into the contents of our traditional tales in the aspect of children`s economic education. Children are lack of experiences and capacity of cognition. They will be able to understand economic concepts well with the vivid expressions about the situations of events and characters` motivations in the stories. Especially the tales are short and develop very fast which help children easily grasp the relations between the cause and the result with interest. At a glance, the stories seem depicting the world not apposite to modem economy. But in fact most aspects of the economic cases in the stories turn out to be suit for the education of basic economic concepts. Moreover, the various cases will help children enlarge their views on economic phenomena explained in a narrow view at economic theory. Moral hazard becomes economic key issues in modern economic theory. However economic moral is treated lightly in school. We should lay stress on trust, cooperation and sharing in children`s economic education. We conclude our traditional tales to be unique materials we must make use of to succeed our good traditional economic values to our descendant.
