Nowadays theorical variosities and technical diversities are recognized in the field of psychoanalysis. But, the difficulties that are inherent in establishing and maintaining relationship with other significant persons-object relational difficulties- are recognized as being focus of attention. As a result, the ego-psychological approach to psychoanalysis, object relation theory are theoretical frameworks that are widely used by modern psychoanalytic clinicians. Theories of ego-psychology and object relations theory are compared and also applied to clinical case and compared differences of both theories.
