사회적 자본과 인적 자본의 관계에 대한 소고

국문 초록 (Abstract)

사회적 자본과 인적 자본은 경제성장, 소득분배 등과 관련하여 대단히 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 평가받고 있는 용어들이다. 사회적 네트워크, 신뢰, 규범 등을 구성요소로 하는 있는 사회적 자본은 인적 자본의 형성에도 긍정적으로 작용하는 것으로 조사되고 있다. 반면에 인적 자본은 사회적 자본의 형성에 반드시 긍정적으로 작용한다고는 볼 수 없다. 인적 자본의 형성과정, 내용, 그리고 활용방안에 따라 사회적 자본에 미치는 영향이 달라질 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 사회적 자본과 인적 자본에 대해서 각각의 개념, 상대방에게 어떤 영향을 줄 수 있는지를 기존 문헌 등을 통해서 이론적·경험적으로 조명하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It is well acknowledged that social capital and human capital play very important roles in economic growth and income distribution. Literature shows that social capital composed of social network, trust, and norms affects positively the formation of human capital. Meanwhile, human capital does not affect necessarily the formation of social capital in the positive directions. It depends on the formation process and contents of human capital and how to use it. This study shows the concepts of social capital and human capital, and examines theoretically and empirically how to affect each other.
