The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of constructive play in block area on the ability of the concept of orientation and the spatial perspective-taking ability. The subjects are 60 5-year-olds in two kindergartens, one of which is education group and the other is comparision group. Children's spatial perspective-taking ability is assessed in pre/post test. which includes the concept of orientation, the concept of spatial perspective. In the result, constructive play in block area has a significant effect on the spatial perspective-taking ability.
