학과 및 직업카드를 활용한 단기 진로교육프로그램의 개발과 효과 = A study on the development and effects of a brief career education program using major & vocational card for highschool students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 교사들이 ‘진로와 직업’ 과 같은 진로관련 수업시간에 비교적 쉽게 진행이 가능한 단기진로교육프로그램을 구성하고, 이 프로그램이 고등학생들의 진로선택에 중요한 영향을 미치는 세 가지 심리적 변인인 진로자기효능감․진로정체감․진로결정수준에 실제로 긍정적인 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는 것이다. 고등학생의 진로선택에 있어서는 직업선택과 더불어 학과선택이 매우 중요하기 때문에 본 연구진은 이전 연구에서 개발한 직업카드 외에 새로이 학과카드를 추가로 개발하여, 이 두 카드를 활용하여 직업 및 학과와 관련한 정보, 흥미, 자기효능감 수준을 탐색하고 진로목표를 정해보는 단기진로교육프로그램을 구성하였다.
본 프로그램의 효과를 알아보기 위해 경기도 시흥시에 소재한 H고등학교의 1학년 학생 36명을 대상으로, ‘진로와 직업’이라는 교과수업 중에 4주간 프로그램을 진행하였다. 연구에 사용된 검사도구는 진로자기효능감검사, 진로정체감검사, 진로결정수준검사이며, 자료분석은 실험집단의 사전-사후 검사결과를 t 검증방법을 통해 비교하였다. 연구결과는 본 연구에서 구성한 단기진로교육프로그램이 고등학생의 진로자기효능감, 진로정체감, 진로결정수준에 모두 다 유의미한 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to develop a group education program that highschool teachers can apply at ease to their classes related to students' career like 'careers and vocations', and to look into if the program actually has a positive influence on three psychological factors: career self-efficacy, vocational identity, career decision-making level. For high school students, the choice of an vocation and a major was so important in decision on their career. So, besides previously developed vocational card, we developed major card, and developed the brief career education program which is targeted at letting students explore the information, interest, and self-efficacy level which are related to majors and vocations, and set the goal of their career through making the good use of those two cards.
To ascertain the effectiveness of this program, we implemented this program to 36 first graders of H highschool located in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province for four weeks during the class named 'careers and vocations'. The instruments used in this study were Career Decision-Making Self Efficacy Scale, Vocational Identity Scale of MVS(My Vocational Situation), Career Decision Scale, and the analysis of the data was done by comparing the results of pre-test with the ones of post-test through T-test. The result of our study shows that the brief career education program that we developed has a meaningful, positive influence on the career self -efficacy, vocational identity, and career decision-making level of high school students.
