어휘 능력의 성격을 통해 본 어휘에 대한 바람직한 관점 연구 = A study on the new angle on vocabulary in Vocabulary Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

A discussion on vocabulary education have a relation with the object of Korean education, As for the point of view on vocabulary in the research, the mainstream is to regard vocabulary as a tool of using Korean.
These situation demand the study of two aspects. The first, the discussion how we should view vocabulary in Korean education has to proceed, in order to develop scientific system of vocabulary education, The second is to make a character of lexicon competence clear, the point of view on vocabulary is not defined because of the insufficient discussion on the character of lexicon competence which is the vocabulary educational object
This paper has tried to solve those two problems, dividing the print of view on vocabulary into two point like tools and human intellect and researched the character of lexical competence which is discriminated between symbolic competence and indicative competence. the character of symbolic competence have a relation to personal knowledge and thinking ability. the character of indicative competence is centralized to the way of activity and meaning. This paper discussed that symbolic and indicative competence are a unity and proposed the complementary viewpoint of vocabulary.
