청소년 탈비행과 위험요소 및 보호요소에 관한 탐색적 연구 = What makes a differences for Korean juveniles?

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년 탈비행과 관련된 위험요소와 보호요소를 구명하고자 함을 기본 목적으로 삼았다. 이를 위해 실제 탈비행화에 성공한 10명의 청소년들을 심층 면접하였고, 면접한 결과를 바탕으로 비행을 저지르는데 영향을 미치는 위험요소들을 개인, 가정, 학교, 지역사회의 측면에서 밝혀내었다. 또한 이들이 탈비행화 하는데 영향을 미친 보호요소들을 밝혀 내었다. 위험요소의 경우는 가정요인이 가장 심각한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 보호요소로는 친화력있는 인간관계, 학교교육에 대한 긍정적인 가치관, 올바른 행동에 대한 올바른 기준을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 효과적인 청소년 비행 예방 및 개인전략을 수립하는데 필요한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study examined the risk factors and the protective factors related to delinquent behaviors in Korean youths. Ten Korean juvenile delinquents were interviewed. Results indicated that 9 out of 10 youths had family risk factors, which was found to be the most significant risk factor. Failure in school was found to be another significant risk factor. In School dropout and runaway in most cases of this study were co-occurrent phenomenon with other problematic behaviors. Regarding the protective factors, all the interviewees considered "self-determination to change" as the most important factor to prevent recidivism. Bonding relationship was found significant to lead the youths to the self-determination to change their behaviors. Individual characteristics, such as intellectual capability to analyze the results of the delinquent behaviors was found to prevent recidivism. Results also indicated that experiences of achieving something consolidated the youths' self-determination to change. All the youths interviewed were shown to put positive value on schooling.
