살풀이 특성과 장단 및 명칭에 관한 소고

Three representative Salpuri dances are investigated in this study to fin~I out their unique characteristics that can differentiate each other. Included are Han Young Sooh`s. Kim Sook .la`s, and Lee Vlae Bang`s as the three representative Salpuri Dances. Careful attention is given to the various respects regarding the origin of the dance, stage usage, stage movement, and stage costume. Beauty and meaning of each dances are also investigated. The distinctive characteristics are identified through reviewing related reference documents, other papers, and interviewing experts. Summaries of each characteristics for the three representative Slapuri dances are presented in this study. In addition, special consideration is given to the usage of the beat(Jang-dan) accompanying with the dances and the name of the Salpuri`s. Desirable usage of beats and naming of the dances are also suggested with the background reason obtained from this study.
