The incised meander cut-off and 4 level river terraces are developed in the Kugyech` on. In this thesis, the geomorphic characteristic of the river terraces in relation to the incised meander cut-off and the changing process of the longitudinal profile after cut-off are investigated. The main results are as follows; 1. The river terrace formed by the incised meander cut-off has a characteristic of local terracd. Therefore it continuously appears from the cut-off place, its relative height from the present river bed becomes lower toward upstream. Then the river terrace finally disappears. In the Kugyech` on valley, the KL₂ surface corresponds to this type of terace KL₂ surface in the cut-off place has the relative height of 24m from the present river bed. But the relative height becomes lower toward upstream and the KL₂ surface disappears at about 9㎞ upstream. 2. Around the area where the KL₂ surface disappears, the secondary terraces with lower relative height appear on both the upper and lower of the KL₂ surface and the present river bed has a lot of small knick points. 3. Deposits on the terraces produced by the cut-off become thicker at the downstream and thinner at the upstream.
